GPT Referral Guide

Around one year ago I began to look for moneymaking opportunities online. I’m a college student and the idea was to make a little extra spending money to cover costs while away at school. I never predicted that promoting GPT sites would become a hobby or that such a vast online industry existed. Today, I enjoy promoting get paid to, paid to click, and paid survey sites from home. In this short time I have also built built some substantial downlines with different programs… only some have been profitable.

In order to build referral downlines for some of the top programs online, I have learned a lot through trial and error about this area of online advertising, downline building and also various non-traditional promotional methods. I hope I can uncover some of these methods here and help others jumpstart their online earnings; both by maxamizing the insight of successes and also minimizing the losses of some less successful referral building and advertising methods.

I hope you find the insights here to be helpful and of course, they are completely free for you to use and incorporate into your campaigns or to win that next big referral contest. I do want to mention though… please don’t copy or post the information here anywhere else online. Also, I really appreciate it if you use my link to join any of the programs that I mention! In my experience, it’s so much more enjoyable to view these programs as a shared experience and if you have any additional referral programs or tips…  I’m always looking to learn more and I’ll be happy to hear from you!

Downline and Referral Building Sites & “Ref” Programs are one of the most popular ways to gain referrals for your programs. One key benefit of promoting multi-tiered programs via these referrals building programs and sites is that you’re often reaching a very referral savvy audience. If you reach the right person, you can literally explode your donwline. These “Ref” sites usually offer two types of referral building methods; paid to signup and paid to click. The PTC option usually functions like a niche version of a traditional traffic exchange (more info about traffic generation below) and when you click members ads you’re awarded credits that can be exchanged for PTC ads for your own programs. Similarly, you can earn credits by joining other members programs and then redeem your internal earnings for your own paid to signup programs. In my experience, paid advertising via these programs can actually be the most powerful advertising option. Paid signups are less likely to be genuine than if someone is attracted to your banner; you’re longer term results may show this differential in spades.

  • StarReferrals by the Deal Barbie Network is my favorite referral program and offers affordable banner advertising and also options like paid to click, side panel ads, and paid to signup advertising. Banner advertisements start at just $1 for 2,000 impressions and there are multiple ways to earn internal funds that can be exchanged for advertising for your program.
  • TargetRefs, SimpleRefs and ProgramRefs also offer valuable advertising exposure for your programs. Target, Simple & ProgramRefs offer very affordable traffic packages to advertise your favorite programs, blogs, articles and more. This network of identical sites offers access to a savvy international membership and one that can help boost your downline. You can click other members sites very quickly and effectively without too much effort and earn credits to place your own ads or puchase a traffic package; valuable banner advertising is also avaliable through each of the sites and after paying via PayPal, ads are placed instantly and automatically as per the rotation that you purchase. Unfortunately, it’s not currently possible to geographically target your paid to click ads and stats aren’t avaliable for the banner advertisements placed on the site. Still, I’ve found the exposure to be valuable and the results impressive.
  • If you’re interested in promoting your programs through PTSU or paid to signup advertising, you might also like a site with a similar name but different ownership, script and design called GetRef. While the popular site called Get Ref does offer some useful paid signup packages, the site lacks a traffic cooperative, surf exchange or paid to click area. Of course, all referral sites listed here offer multilevel downlines for residual downline building and referral potential.
  • Refback” is another concept that has emerged and allows members to compensate their downline; some sites using shiftcode have a new capability that allows members to transfer their internal funds to their downline (CashQuestGPT had this capability custom coded but unfortunately, the site has closed/folded). Alternatively, some Paid to Click fans have joined sites like GPT Bank that pay members additional funds for their clicking with supported programs. For example, if you join five programs supported by GPTBank and click each day, you’ll be paid extra for you clicking by the bank and they may pay faster than the sites you’re clicking with; check their site for more info. Another popular refback site that’s similar to the GPTBank concept is DownlineRefs. You can also refer and build downlines with these sites, earning commissions for the refback earnings of referrals.
  • Many traffic exchanges also offer something similar to this “refback” concept and allow you to transfer referrals some of your earned traffic exchange credits.

Traffic is King! Drive exposure with paid to click page views & traffic exchange surfers.
